Objectives
Global Hands for Hope is a mission-driven organization that has management and board with the
set objectives aimed at achieving our stated mission.
We have ascertained areas of need and identify the necessary steps needed to address these areas
of need, as a result we have broken our objectives into three main categories.
Strategic
Objectives
Our strategic objectives is focused on providing services to specific areas of needs by identifying the needs relevant to each community and developing programs and projects geared at fulfilling those needs.
Because each community differ one to the next, Global Hands for Hope has devised a result oriented approach by committing resources at its disposal to each community’s areas of specific needs.
For instance, where there is a need to build literacy capacity, strategic resources is committed to the implementation of a program to obtain and manage supply books, learning aids, spaces, and an instructor with a view to achieving a strategic result.
Financial
Objectives
Adequate financial resources are harnessed to cover costs to establish reserves and fulfill financial assistance for communities in need. Financial objective includes raising enough money to fund the activities included in our strategic plan, as well as fixed costs, such as premises rental, staff compensation and utility bills. Our financial objective realized by fundraising activities, partnerships and services.
Our focus has been to break even and maximize cash flow, while avoiding excessive financial
risks.
Operational Objectives
Our operational objective focuses on the management of funds and resources to achieve specific tasks through quantitative measurements such as the frequency of activities and the number of people served or helped.
Our operational objective includes short term dates for completion of individual projects, the resources used for each and the degree of success that the organization wants to achieve.
Governance Objectives
We adhere to stringent governance requirements in view of the public trust we seek to earn. In addition, we are accountable to the general public and particularly to our donors in order to ensure our future success.
Our governance objective also includes the establishment of sound policies for issues such as compensation, purchasing and procurement, human resources and volunteer management asset
and risk management.
